Any holder of an OCM Genesis or OCM Karma may vote in Prop House rounds. Each OCM Genesis and Karma gives you 1 vote in Prop House (the bonus vote for Genesis + Karma pairs is not yet available for Prop House, but it’s on their roadmap).

You can allocate your votes across multiple Props however you wish. You can give multiple votes to the same Prop. Unlike Snapshot voting, if you only have 1 OCM token you can only vote for 1 Prop. (You cannot sub-divide your vote across multiple choices.)

You do not need to use up all your votes in one session. You can come back and use any remaining available votes until the voting period closes on the round.

However- once you use votes, you can no longer change them. Votes are also private, and voting data is not publicly viewable even after the voting period ends. These are important differences from Snapshot.

Steps to Vote

  1. Visit the OCM Prop House

  2. Connect your Wallet using the button in the top right. You will not need to sign anything to do this. Prop House will check to see how many votes you have based on the number of OCM Genesis and Karma in your wallet.

  3. Allocate the votes to the Props you wish to support as you see fit.

  4. Once you are done, use the Vote button. You will be asked to sign a simple message with data on the votes you are casting and to verify your wallet - similar to how Snapshot works or logging into OpenSea. Doing this will submit your votes.

    (You will NOT be asked to allow any token approvals or pay gas of any kind. As always, please be extra safe and double-check what you are signing to verify this.)
